Eames® Lounge Chair and Ottoman from Herman Miller - Walnut/ Black & White Checker Fabric

Museum-worthy artistry meets the ultimate in lounging comfort.

Conceived by Charles and Ray Eames in 1956, the Eames® Lounge Chair and Ottoman is a masterwork of modern furniture design and a permanent fixture in MoMA’s collection. Marrying fine art with everyday living, the chair was famously designed to evoke "the warm, receptive look of a well-used first baseman’s mitt."

Hand-assembled in the USA by original manufacturer Herman Miller®, this authorized icon features three curved 7-ply veneer shells resting on a smooth-pivoting, five-pronged base. Available at MoMA Design Store in Walnut, Oak, or Ebony shells, you can choose from premium 100% Italian full-grain leather, a sustainable plant-based bamboo leather, or fabric—including a historic checkered textile designed by Alexander Girard.

Please note that the leather exhibits natural markings and inherent color and textural variations. The leather will lighten in color during prolonged exposure to heat or sunlight.
